Testimonies from Gilead Church/Testimonios de la Iglesia Galaad

There have been many testimonies of God’s miracle-working power in the lives of those who have gathered to pray and to praise and to worship at Gilead Church. We rejoice that God has intervened in the lives of so many. He hears the prayers of His people and He answers in accordance with His divine and perfect will.

Psalm 29 tells us it is right to ascribe the glory due His Name. We write down these testimonies to remember – we never want to forget all the wondrous works of our LORD.

We worship the LORD for who He is, not what He does – but we know He still works signs, miracles, and wonders even in our time, and we are a thankful people.

Man who was declared braindead: Like the friends who carried the paralyzed man through the roof, so, too, a young man’s friends came to church pleading for prayer on behalf of their friend. The man was hospitalized, in a coma, and the doctors had declared him braindead. God stirred up the faith of the congregation that day at Gilead Church, and together we prayed that God would have mercy on him – give him a second chance – and work a miracle in his life. The very.next.day. the man was seen up and walking, released from the hospital. He is still alive to this day!

Man healed from HIV: A man who has attended Gilead Church on several occasions testified that God has healed him from HIV! He reports that his doctor has given him the all-clear, and he was elated to share his testimony with the congregation.

Woman received deliverance: A woman who has been desperate for deliverance for many years testified that God has given her a major breakthrough and is no longer experiencing the mental anguish that was plaguing her for years!

Child restored to health: A child involved in a very serious accident had lacerations and edema. Several loving members of Gilead Church prayed for this child, and the swelling immediately went away. The child has been restored to health! There is power in the Name of Jesus our Healer!

Relationship mended: A couple was enduring years of hardship, but God helped them overcome. They are still together and trusting God to use them as powerful witnesses of the Gospel!

Man freed from addiction and obtained job: A man had tried to get a job for a long time and struggled with addiction. God has delivered him from his addiction and now has a full-time, well-paying job!

Wheelchair-bound woman walks again: A woman who had been wheelchair-bound, walked into the sanctuary, able on her own strength to walk again!
